Deals Done

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to push his cabinet to freeze most construction on West Bank settlements for 90 days--in exchange for a $3 billion package from the United States in security incentives and fighter jets--so that peace talks could continue.

  1. Wait, are you talking about the "New York F-35" agreement? That's hardly the exchange of $3 billion worth of jets for a construction freeze...

  2. We can thank Harpers for the embellishment. Perhaps they went too far by with the worlds 'in exchange" where "in addition they made a deal" would suffice.
